Casper Laing Ebbensgaard is a cultural geographer at the University of East Anglia. His research explores the affective politics of architecture and urban design in the vertical city with attention to the uneven distribution of and access to light and darkness and its impact on residents’ ability to form meaningful attachments in the city.
