Heba Y Amin
Heba Y Amin is a visual artist and BGSMSC doctorate fellow of art history at Freie Universität, Berlin. Her theoretical interests are in critical spatial practices, media theory, and aesthetics. Amin is the co-founder of the Black Athena Collective, an experimental artistic lab that focuses on architectures of migrancy in the Red Sea region from Eritrea to Egypt. She is also the curator of visual art for the MIZNA journal (US) and curator for the biennial residency program DEFAULT with Ramdom Association (IT). She is currently lecturing at Bard College Berlin.
