Jack Murray-Brown is an engineer and artist working across web technologies, radio, and community infrastructure. His practice explores how communities build, maintain, and care for systems that support cultural production and collective memory. He works with independent radio stations and cultural organisations including Refuge Worldwide and the Independent Community Radio Network, developing tools and infrastructure for archiving, publishing, and coordination. He currently facilitates Tending Infrastructures Together, a working group within the Independent Community Radio Network focused on collective approaches to caring for archives and shared infrastructure in DIY and non-commercial music cultures. His recent work includes community radio archival systems, peer-to-peer coordination tools (Toolkitty), and a self-hosted social music streaming platform. Based in Berlin, his work moves between engineering, artistic research, and collaborative infrastructure development.
