Paavo Järvensivu studies the political economy and culture of ecological reconstruction in the independent, multidisciplinary BIOS Research Unit, based in Helsinki, Finland. He is also a member of Mustarinda, an association of artists and researchers that works towards a post-fossil fuel culture.
