Xenia Chiaramonte
Xenia Chiaramonte is a gaiajurist: she studies law and the potentialities of legal technique in the time of Gaia, and the institution of nature (and the so-called rights of nature) with a materialist approach. She is a fellow at the ICI Berlin Institute for Cultural Inquiry where she is developing a project on law and ecology. In 2019 she published her research monograph Governare il conflitto: La criminalizzazione del movimento No TAV (Meltemi, Milan), which analyses the criminalization of one of the most longstanding and high-profile environmental movements in Western Europe. Recently, she has been exploring new narratives and published her first science-fiction tale: Greetings from the Undergrowth.
