Das Diskursprogram (Donnerstag, Freitag, Samstag) wurde während des Festivals live gestreamt. Die Aufnahmen und Videos werden bald auf unserer Website und auf Youtube zur Verfügung stehen.

Seit über dreißig Jahren schafft die transmediale Raum für die kritische Reflexion von kultureller Transformation aus einer postdigitalen Perspektive. Die Kernaktivität der transmediale ist das jährliche Festival mit wechselnden thematischen Ausrichtungen im Kontext von Kunst und digitaler Kultur. Über die jährliche Veranstaltung hinaus ist die transmediale eine transversale Plattform, die regelmäßige Publikationen und ganzjährige Aktivitäten einschließlich eines Residency Programmes mit verschiedenen Partnerinstitutionen ermöglicht. Seit 2021 hat transmediale ein eigenes studio, das als Veranstaltungs- und Ausstellungsraum dient, im silent green Kulturquartier.

Single Tickets Evening Programme

The Evening Programme in cooperation with CTM festival requires single tickets and is not included in any festival pass.

Programme Structure

Die Hauptveranstaltungstage der transmediale 2023 finden vom 1. bis 5. Februar in der Akademie der Künste, Berlin (Standort Hanseatenweg) statt. Partnerprogramme und Veranstaltungen vor, während und nach dem Festival finden an verschiedenen Orten in der Stadt statt.

Als fünftägiges Festival präsentiert die transmediale 2023 ein Diskursprogramm, zwei Ausstellungen und ein Abendprogramm in Kooperation mit dem CTM Festival.

Or So It Seems

Featuring Alan Butler and Simone C Niquille, the exhibition at Akademie der Künste interrogates the technical and socio-political implications of computervision technologies.

Out Of Scale
Neben dem fünftägigen Festival in der Akademie der Künste präsentiert transmediale eine stadtweite Ausstellung über einen Monat.
