about transmediale

For over thirty years, transmediale creates a space for critical reflection on cultural transformation from a post-digital perspective. The core activity of transmediale is the annual festival with a yearly changing theme within the frame of art and digital culture. Beyond the yearly event, transmediale is a transversal platform that facilitates regular publications and year-round activities including a residency programme with different partner institutions. Since 2021, transmediale runs its studio space at silent green Kulturquartier.
